Turn your chess games into puzzles
Peck finds the tactics you missed in your Lichess or Chess.com games and builds a Woodpecker set from them.
How it works
How Peck finds your puzzles
Your recent games
Peck reads your public rated games from Lichess or Chess.com, newest first, in the time controls you choose. No password, nothing to install.
Stockfish on your device
Each game is analysed by Stockfish in your browser. Nothing is uploaded until you save the set, and a laptop gets through 200 games in a few minutes.
Only clear answers
A position becomes a puzzle only when one move is clearly winning: the chances you missed, and the tactics your opponent could have played after your mistake.
A Woodpecker set
Keep the groups you want, name the set and pick a number of cycles. Sets under 20 puzzles are topped up from Peck's library near your rating.
FAQ
Questions about game import
Which games does Peck use?
Your most recent rated games on Lichess or Chess.com, up to 200, in the time controls you switch on: bullet, blitz, rapid and classical or daily. Peck only reads public games, so it needs your username and nothing else.
What counts as a puzzle?
A position where one move is clearly best, as Stockfish sees it. Peck keeps the chances you missed and what your mistakes allowed your opponent, and skips positions with several good answers.
Where does the analysis run?
On your device. Stockfish runs in your browser, so keep the tab open while it works. Your games come straight from Lichess or Chess.com, and only the puzzles you keep are saved when you create the set.
Is it free?
Yes. Importing your games, analysing them and training the set through every cycle is free. You need a free account to save the set, so Peck can track your cycles and the puzzles you miss.
